What does a home inspection include?
A home inspection is a visual assessment of all visibly accessible major systems and components of the home. This includes the roof, structure, exterior, interior, electrical system, plumbing, heating, cooling, insulation, and ventilation.

How long does a home inspection take?
Most home inspections take two to four hours depending on the size, age, and condition of the property.

Can I attend the home inspection?
Yes. We strongly encourage clients to attend the inspection. Being present allows you to see findings firsthand, ask questions as they arise, and gain a better understanding of how the home works and what to monitor moving forward.

How much does a home inspection cost?
Pricing depends on the size and type of home. County Home Inspection provides clear quotes with no hidden fees, and clients receive their quote before booking.

Do you inspect older homes?
Yes. We inspect homes of all ages, including century homes. Older homes may have unique considerations, and we explain those during the inspection.

Do you inspect new construction?
Yes. We inspect new homes once the buyer has taken possession. Even new builds can have issues worth noting, and a full inspection helps you understand the home from day one.

Do you offer WETT inspections?
Yes. We provide WETT inspections for solid-fuel burning appliances such as wood stoves and fireplaces.

Will I receive a written report?
Yes. Every client receives a detailed digital report that includes photos and clear explanations of the inspection findings.

How soon will I get my report?
You will receive your inspection report later on the same day the inspection takes place.
