If you have questions about what is included in a home inspection, you can visit our Home Inspection FAQ.
A County Home Inspection combines a visual examination and where appropriate, testing with normal operating controls, of all the readily accessible major systems and components of the home.
These major systems and components include:
the structure and the roof - which will include the flashings and chimneys;
an inspection of the electrical and plumbing systems;
the heating and cooling systems;
the insulation and ventilation of attics and foundations;
the interior - includes a representative number of doors & windows;
the exterior of the property.
The inspection enables us to evaluate and report on the general condition of the home and on those systems and components, which in our professional opinion, are significantly deficient or near the end of their service life.
You will receive your digital inspection report later on the same day of your inspection.
Every County Home Inspection follows the CAHPI (Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors) Standards of Practice.
